Josh

Josh is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, a full-time mechanical engineer, and a part-time graduate

student. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently working

toward a Master’s in Aerospace, both at UAH. Growing up, Josh was a dedicated soccer player

for 10 years and enjoyed learning tumbling and gymnastics skills in his free time. Josh found

CrossFit while at UAH as a fun way to stay active. He appreciates CrossFit for its variety of

movements, its competitive aspect, and its community. His favorite parts of coaching are

supporting athletes achieve their goals and helping people discover talents they never thought

were possible. When not working, studying, or at the gym, you can catch Josh flying his

homemade quadcopter, riding his dirt bike, or flipping off cliffs into the Tennessee River.
