What am I Paying For?
CrossFit gyms are very different from other gyms you may have been to. In a regular gym you simply do your own program. You get no feedback or coaching from experts. CrossFit, however, is based on extremely effective training provided by a CrossFit coach. Training at a CrossFit gym is a blend of personal training and group exercise classes. At CrossFit Impulse a coach conducts each class. The coach helps you determine the right workout of the day (WOD) for you based on ability level, injuries, and any other relevant factors. Each class performs the WOD together while the coach gives individual attention to each athlete. The coach will lead the warmup, refresh everyone on proper movements and standards, coach each athlete for proper range of motion and safety, and encourage each athlete during the WOD. You’re not paying for a simple gym membership. You’re paying for a personal trainer, nutrition counselor, and motivator that actually gets you results!
Most people have no CrossFit experience when they start training with us, and that’s OK! We offer a series of eight classes called Fundamentals to get you started. In Fundamentals you’ll learn all about CrossFit over four weeks. You’ll get gradually introduced to all our movements, equipment, and methods. You’ll also learn about our nutrition program, determine how often you should train, and get all your questions answered! You can read more about Fundamentals here. Fundamentals is $250 for all eight classes, which includes your first month of training. Each class is 60 minutes and led by two of our competent and friendly CrossFit coaches that will get you moving the right way! We only accept eight students into each Fundamentals class. Two coaches with eight students means that you’ll get all the individual attention you need.
New athletes often come to us from other activities like running, weightlifting, or yoga where they develop some athletic ability and tolerance for exercise. If you’ve never tried CrossFit but you’re physically active, then our Fast Track course might be a good fit for you. During your free intro and evaluation one of our coaches will talk with you about your goals and help you decide if Fast Track is right for you. You can read more about Fast Track here. Fast Track is $125 . Each class is 90 minutes and led by our motivated CrossFit coaches that will show you what you need to know to jump right in!
Once you graduate Fundamentals or Fast Track then you’re ready for group classes! We have three training options to fit the needs of any athlete
- Unlimited Classes- $140/month
- 3 Classes per Week- $120/month
- 2 Classes per Week- $100/month
We also offer serious monthly discounts if you join with a family member or are a first responder like
- Active duty military
If you have completed Fast Track, Fundamentals, or a similar course at another affiliate, or are CrossFit level 1 certified, then you can drop-in on any of our scheduled WODs for $15. Travelers from other CrossFit affiliates can drop in for free on their first visit. Just like our regularly scheduled WODs, this is only for athletes with a base of CrossFit experience. If you are new to CrossFit then please schedule Fundamentals with us before dropping in.
If you love the idea of CrossFit but want a more low-key and personal way to get started, then we offer personal training. Personal training is scheduled by appointment and the cost varies by your schedule and goals. Contact us if you’d like to learn more!
