  1. 175, 185, 195, 205, 225x, 210(2,x)

Failed at 225 on the 4th set, scaled back to 210 and got that twice and failed on the third rep.
Progressed pretty well with only failing at the end.
Tried for a while on the last rep of 210, but just wasn’t able to get enough power out of my legs. I came out of the bottom and hit a slow point on the way up and that is where I stopped. I noticed it on the two sets before last as well.

It will be interesting to see what my max squat & deadlift is now, as I’m hitting loads close to my previous max and doing them multiple times.

Great work by everyone this morning.

  2. Good To Be back

    Worked in with Russell

    175, 185, 195, 205, 225x, 210

210 was rough but very happy with being able to finish it. The 20 lb jump was miss communication. I said to Russel “210” and he thought I sad “2 tens”

  3. Great article on the Paleo diet. It is suggested, but never said explicitly, that the diet the researchers are contrasting against Paleo (the Western diet) is concurrent with the rise in new “diseases” we see spreading like wildfire everywhere we export our culture.

It would be interesting to see the same study run on a zone/paleo combination. The conclusion is overall positive and certainly rebuts any notion of the diet lacking specific nutrients or being weighted too highly in fat intake (notice the differentiation between the types of fat with the Paleo and the Western diets).

  4. 135 – 155 – 175(f) – 175 – 180(f)

My midget hammies got me to 175, which is better than I was expecting. My 1 rep max is/was 185, so Im happy with this for 3 reps. Thanks to Hudson for the front squat tips.

And last but not least, welcome back to the old new girl….Yaneth. Back from her sabbatical on the West Coast.
