  1. I did Fran at my L 1 Cert last weekend for the first time! I got 7:13 with 65#. I want to do it again soon…maybe after regionals this weekend. Have fun with this one guys! I’ll probly be rowing nice and easy tomorrow and cheering you on.

  2. 13:54 with 75#

This was my first Fran and it was quite painful. Thanks Hudson for pushing me beyond what I thought I could do. My two week hiatus from CrossFit definitely showed today.

  3. 3:55 Rx. 1 second off my PR. Watched Jakub do a 3:10 with all legit reps. Everyone in the gym this morning pushed really hard. Good job today guys.

  4. 8:32 had a strained right hamstring, and pullups continue to be my biggest weakness/setback when doing workouts for time. I want to get better but I don’t feel like I’m making any progress in that area.

    1. Andrew,
Keep working at those pullups. It doesn’t happen overnight. If you continue to work on them, you will get there. Patience, man!

  5. Went from 5:54 to 5:12 this time, very happy. I sure had the butterflys all day thinking about this one ! I entertained the thought of doing Murph would be better.

Andrew, don’t give up on the pullups, it will come

  6. Active rest for me today.

Congrats to everyone on their PRs, and especially to David and Christina who hit great personal milestones. Michael also shaved ~2 minutes from his time and got into the 5 minute range.

  7. 3:29 rx’d (PR by 2:07)

I followed Jeff’s advice on thrusters and never set the bar down. I was able to do 21 unbroken, 15 unbroken, and had to rest in the rack position for a breath or two on the 9 set. I know of 1-2 reps that were 97% locked out instead of 100%. I need to work on making that unquestionable. I lost grip on number 14 of the 15 set of pullups and had to drop once on the 9 set due to lost grip. Thanks for pushing me Jeff, Jordan, and everyone else who was yelling (don’t know exactly who) at me!

  8. Did “Fran” in Nov. at my level one cert. w/ 55lb and was four pullups short of the ten minute cut off time. Today I did the WOD with 56lbs and got 6:49 (PR)! Was extremely happy with my progress on this one. I look forward to the next time I do this WOD and I plan to try it RX’d.

Everyone in the 5:00 class kicked ass today! Everyone pushed themselves to new levels today and I was honored to see so many people tackle “Fran” with confidence! Great job as well to everyone in the 6:15 — David killed the WOD 🙂

  9. 7:33 rx’d for my first crack at Fran. Did my last set of thrusters unbroken, making me wish I hadn’t rested as much in the first two sets. Looking forward to improving next time.
