  1. I did some shoulder mobility this morning while waiting for coffee to brew. Was pleased with the results. Can already do pushups off the Ottoman. Might be able to go to the ground, but I got here by doing too much too soon, so I’m trying to be a little smarter now. I’ll save those for Sunday 🙂 Can also do dips on the ottoman and even the counter. That’s an improvement over the day before surgery. Dips were the only thing that still felt like they would crack me in half, but now I think they’ll recover fine. Can get into a full overhead position, but not without effort. Got my first somewhat normal night of sleep last night without pain pills, so that is progress too.

    1. Jeff, that is really great to hear! Glad the surgery was a success. I know you’re chomping at the bit to get back into things.

  2. Ended up doing 400 DU, 21 C&J, 200 DU, 21 C&J, 400 DU. C&J were at the prescribed 155lbs.

    Took me 43 minutes. This was a long workout!

    Congrats to everyone who did the 11.1 WOD! Looks like we got several new PR’s on it!

  3. Alex, I’m back at 12 x 900 mg of EPA/ DHA. That’s 12 x 1400 mg of fish oil. I tapered off before surgery so I wouldn’t bleed out in the OR if things went horribly wrong.

  4. I made the mistake of following Alex V.s lead and subbing double unders for the run instead of singles. Did 300/200/300 on the double unders and 135lb for the C&J. 34:50, it was really tough.
