CrossFit Games Open 11.3

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 5 minutes of:
165 pound Squat clean
165 pound Jerk

Heather Bergeron 29 rounds (58 reps), Pat Sherwood 22 rounds + 1 clean (45 reps).

Post rounds and reps completed to comments and/or register and submit your results as part of the CrossFit Games Open.

If you plan to compete as an athlete, volunteer as a judge or volunteer to help in general, please register here.  This will allow the CFI staff to plan for Saturday’s CrossFit Games Open 11.3 event.  Judges will need to attend one of the judges meetings tonight at 7:30 or Thursday night at 7:30.

  1. I wont be able to be there on Saturday because I can’t miss work. I was wondering if anyone wants to do the WOD with me on Friday at open gym? I’m free all day so time doesn’t matter to me. I was just trying to create a bit of a competitive environment.

    1. I will yell at you too, but I don’t think I’ll be doing it until Saturday since it will be my first chance to perform on a Saturday since this whole thing has started.

    2. Jordan, I would like to do the WOD during the open gym Friday as well. Let me know what time and maybe I can workout at the same time. I do have to work that day, but will likely be able to leave soon after lunch, probably around 1pm.

  2. Had a great class this morning. Everyone chose challenging loads, and they got heavy quick. Can’t wait to hear how you guys do on the 11.3 dry run.

  3. Did the WOD with 135 at about 75% intensity and got 18 rounds or 36 reps. I am dealing with some pain in my wrist/thumb right now so I choose to go lighter today. 30-lbs will make a difference on Saturday.

  4. 8 rounds rx’d. Took it easy to get used to the load as it is more than my body weight and this is one of my weaker movements. This one is going to be a tough one.

  5. 11.5 Rounds Rx
    I had the most trouble going from the rack position to getting a grip for the split jerk. I let my fingers slip out once and had to start over again. By the end, I was just going into the split jerk from rack position. A little scary at first, but the best way to go for me.
