Proud of my five athletes this morning that gave adversity the middle finger. CFI didn’t have electricity, so we pulled my Civic half way into the back door and used the headlights to illuminate one corner of the gym. After testing out the safety of each movement I judged that the WOD was a go, and everyone gave it 100%. Awesome morning.
After class I did back squat, 5×5.

Keeping track of my 3RM and 5RM PRs in addition to my 1RM has been instrumental the past few months. Every workout I try to beat my 3RM or 5 RM from the previous month by just 5 lbs or so. I keep hitting new PRs, so it’s working.

Couldnt string my t2b together and bashed my shin on box jumps. 87 reps Rx’ed. But PRed my power clean with #140. So it wasn’t all bad.
Taught the 5:15 and they killed it!!! Amazing work
Felt good tonight. 122 reps on gold. PR’ed power clean at 185# (15# PR).
Didn’t get to do today’s WOD, special thanks to the 6:30 class for helping me with my ankle. I get to wear this awesome knee-high boot thing for the next week or so……….. 🙂
