Tough workout. I couldn’t seem to find a place to put the dumbell for the weighted pullups, which was the toughest part of the workout. Kudos to Alex V. for taking the 25 pounder when the 20s were all being used.

I just did Holbrook with thrusters last night so I decided to make up the weighted pull-up workout from a couple of weeks ago.

Awesome intensity in the 5:15 class! This was a tough WOD and everyone attacked it with confidence. Josh was able to greatly improve his thrusters in both elbow position at the bottom and lockout at the top…and did some junkyard dog pullups after that!
After 50 thrusters on Holbrook yesterday, I thought it prudent to modify tonight’s WOD. I subbed hang power snatch for thrusters using the same loads. Time was something like 15:26. Would have to reference my log at CFI to be sure.

I suck at any kind of weighted pullups. Just realized after reading Hudsons post that 25 lbs on the second round was not the prescribed weight. That’s what I get for being late but honestly I could of used 5 lbs and I wouldn’t have been able to go faster. Thanks for the coaching David.
