Excellent work from everyone tonight, but especially the ladies. Wendy and Angela really performed well and used some impressive loads for their first time split jerking.

I couldn’t make it to CFI tonight so I pulled a workout out of the things I had at home…
21-15-9 reps of:
-40lbs barbell thrusters
-Push big ass tree trunk that I cut down over Thanksgiving weekend – end over end.
for time: 14:22
that was harder than I had anticipated.

Mike I absolutely love it!!! Great home WOD. You are starting to really think like a CrossFitter…. especially with incorporating the tree trunk in your WOD — how heavy would you estimate the trunk weighs–just curious?

That’s an awesome WOD, Mike. Does one “rep” of pushing the tree mean one flip?

Was definitely tired after that one
I threw the scale down in the back yard and picked it up and got 91lbs
Jeff, yes I’d probably compare the motion to a single flip of a tire, but different leverage
About my height so it required a little walking and a good shove to get it over. Most of the effort
felt like it went to stabilizing it
