30:34 as Rx’d sub 400m run for row, this was really a tough one.
Subbed 400m run for 500m row. All else as Rx’d. Time: 24:51
Didn’t that first power clean with 95 lbs to begin the thrusters feel good after so many 135 lb power cleans? As Hudson and I discussed afterward, doing the prescribed row instead of running each round would have extended the WOD for us. I think it would have cost me 10-20 seconds per round, plus some transition time. Of course, we also had to strip our weights between power cleans and thrusters, but that time was welcome rest. Thanks to Christina for prepping our bars again while we ran.
Enjoyed working out with everyone, some for the first time. Neel and Yaneth really showed some heart by finishing up a long, grueling WOD no matter the cost. Was also impressed with Bill’s performance. As usual, I chased Hudson throughout the WOD and finished 9 seconds behind him.
Hard wod today. Everyone put forth a lot of effort though. 24:42 Rx
Enjoyed coaching this one. Everyone did really well. I second Jeff on his comment about Yaneth, Neel, and Bill! In the second class Mark really pushed through on this one and he did great. Kristin worked through a tough one tonight! Hope the toe is okay tomorrow.
