ROUGH!!! Great working with you Greg B. Great morning class. Now if you don’t mind I am going to ice my entire body.

      1. Fun! We could do a “twin” or “triplet” day like we used to do in school for some gimicky reason. The Gregs, the Erins, the Melissas… 🙂

  4. Oh, and thanks Christina for coaching, motivating and keeping me on the timeline. That was awesome!

Happy with my high rep sets, but had a really hard time with my 1 rep lifts. Wasn’t even able to hit PR once.

Leaving town for training tomorrow. Won’t be back till August. Ill have to improvise to stay healthy these two weeks. Train hard guys, see you in a bit.

    1. I agree with you. I was happier with the output I had on the high rep stuff. Good luck, train hard, See you soon!

  6. 405 x 1 PR
    335 x 10
    410 x 1 PR
    275 x 20
    415 x 1 PR

Enjoyed my first lunch class today. Happy with max reps but need to keep working on stamina and form on multiple reps.

  7. Lunch class was fun today. Seems like I haven’t seen Gean since our 8 minutes of Cindy during his free intro way back in the day. Everyone did really strong work, but two people in particular made awesome accomplishments: Ginga PR’d at 235 lbs to take #2 on the leaderboard and Ryan totaled over 2000, the only athlete to do so as of yet.

  8. For my WOD I ran the Indian Creek Greenway (4 miles) right before the lunch class. Intentionally untimed, but I kept a pretty fast pace (for me). I focused on slowing my breathing under stress.

I was also very fortunate to be able to run during the middle of the day and train my body to perform in a hot and humid climate. After all, not much of the unknown and unknowable takes place in a 74-degree climate controlled environment. It was also a cakewalk compared to some physical exertion that I and many other people have experienced in climates slightly warmer than southeastern America, so I counted myself lucky.

After a 1.5 hour rest I did some hanging dumbbell high pulls and dumbbell shoulder press in my company’s fitness center before showering. Alternated high pull and shoulder press.
