Halloween WOD and After-Party

Update 2: The WOD will be…

8 minute AMRAP

20 double unders

7 chest to bar pullups

Update: We will have a voting system set up to find the best male and female costume. Winners will get a CrossFit Impulse t-shirt!

On Friday, October 29th the evening WODs at CrossFit Impulse are going to be even scarier than normal. To celebrate Halloween we’re inviting you to dress up with us for the 5:15 and 6:30 PM classes. Your trainers will be coaching and working out in full costume, and we want all of you to join us and show us your creativity. Your costume can be as simple or elaborate as you want. It can be scary, funny, gory, CrossFit related, or anything else! And yes, if the WOD involves running intervals, then we will be running up and down Castle Drive in full costume.

After the evening classes we’ll be hanging around for our own CrossFit Impulse Halloween party. We’ll be providing some adult beverages, but you can feel free to bring any food or drinks you’d like. Also, if you can’t make the WOD, then still drop by afterwards and hang out with us. We look forward to seeing you there. You don’t want to miss being a part of the Facebook pictures from this event. If you’re a Facebook user then you can RSVP for the event here and share your costume ideas on the event wall!

  1. This sounds fun! I don’t know about anyone else, but the costume will depend on the WOD. Can’t be doing turkish get-ups or squad push-ups in a hooker dress and stripper shoes….

    1. I personally don’t think you should make any considerations. Just go with it. Roll the dice.

Also, Jeff, on a completely unrelated note, I may have some suggestions concerning movements for this WOD.

  2. Well if Brittany is going to dress like a hooker, I’ll have to come up with another idea…thanks.

  3. YESSSSS! Finally an excuse to break out the old leotard and legwarmers!! I’m a maniac you know

  4. FYI, we’re going to have a special WOD programmed that day that will be costume friendly. It will still be tough, but won’t involve anything too crazy.

  5. In the words of Frank “The Tank” Richard, “I had a great time!!”

Just so much fun tonight that it’s almost futile to try to capture it in a few sentences.
