Gymnastics Clinic

CrossFit Impulse is very excited to offer this clinic to improve your gymnastic ability through six weeks of dedicated practice under the instruction of a professional coach! Southern States Gymnastics coach Caleb Farrington will instruct this clinic in improving your gymnastic ability, specifically in the muscle up and freestanding handstand.

Caleb Farrington is the head coach of the men’s competitive team at Southern States Gymnastics. Caleb was a competitive gymnast for seven years and has been coaching for five years. Caleb believes gymnastics provides one of the most well-rounded ways of building strength, and is a great foundation for athletics at any level. He is extremely interested in the strength training applications of gymnastics, and gymnastics as a tool to develop balance and muscle control.

The class will meet every Tuesday evening from 8-9 PM, starting on June 7th, and continue for six weeks until the final class on July 12th. The class will only accept ten athletes in order to ensure everyone receives plenty of hands-on assistance and instruction. This is a very special clinic that you will want to be a part of! Only the first ten athletes that register will be able to attend. The cost of the clinic is $90 which includes all six sessions. All class participants must be CrossFit Impulse athletes and have these prerequisites: 1 dead hang pullup, 10 strict pushups, and 3 full depth bar dips.  Because of limited slots we can’t open this up to the public–sorry.

  1. Can I go even if I miss one or two because of work? I really want to go but I dont want to take someone’s spot if I’ll end up missing too many anyways.

  2. You’re welcome to sign up and attend even if you’ll miss a couple classes. I’m sure 4 weeks of practice with Caleb would still be awesome. Don’t worry about “taking someone else’s spot.” The slots are there for you too. If you want one, take it.
