  1. Did “Tabata This!” from yesterday. Scored 7-17-11-9-9: 53. Gamed it but fell short of goals on pushups and situps. Pushups were just a som bitch on the last 3 intervals.

As our 5:00 class surely noticed, I was wrecked after this one. Utterly wrecked. Embarrassingly wrecked. Last time a WOD did this to me I sat inside the UFC for 15 min until it wore off. This one took more like 30 min to wear off. Thought I was going to puke up to 15 minutes after end of WOD. Just absolutely wrecked, like a child.

  2. Team Linda was pretty fun. I was with Chris and Hudson, and they did more weight on DL than I would have done for that many reps.

We did 225 DL, 155 Bench, 135 Cleans. I forget our time (around 35 minutes), but I have to say, I have a sick love for squat cleans.

  3. I did “Tabata This” today as well.

    6-15-4-4-7 = 36

I don’t know what happened to me today but the results are what they are (not happy with them). Stamina and endurance seem to be a weaknesses for me. In retrospect, I should have done anchored sit-ups and pull-ups were mostly dead-hang with a small amount of kip. I felted terrible after this one too. That’s it, that’s all.

Andy, I share your sick love for squat cleans.

  4. Did Deck of Cards with the recruits tonight not for time. This one was fun but they were crying by the eighth card. I thought we only had 46 cards left but little did I know Lauren pulled the Jokers from the deck. All the same was not a bad workout. I plan to make up Linda when I can. I have missed it twice in a row.

    Here was the workout:
Take a deck of cards, shuffle. Face cards are 10, Aces are 11, numbered cards as valued.Flip each card and perform the movement and number of reps specified. Cycle whole deck.
    Jokers-1 mile run.

Since Lauren removed the jokers no run was performed but as we neared the end of the deck I was really worried they were gonna end up back to back. That would have really sucked.

  5. Did Linda as Rx’d as far as reps but scaled the weights.
    DL: 135lbs
    BP: 85lbs
    Cleans: 95lbs
I didn’t write down my time and forgot it….oh well. This was a really good strength workout for me today. I am not a fan of cleans but they felt better today after concentrating on form. I ended up getting out of order again tonight for some reason. This has become a recurring problem for me. Well…progress not perfection, right?

  6. So I was watching the olympics after crossfit, and I was totally surprised to see Jeff in a mcdonalds commercial…that apparently says that eating chicken nuggets will allow you to eat like an olympian lol. ok, maybe it wasn’t Jeff, but it sure does look like him!

  7. “Linda”
    Bench 95, Clean 95, Deadlift 195
First two rounds of 10 and 9 I used 115 for Bench and Clean, then scaled down to maintain form and depth (on cleans).

  8. “Linda”
    Bench 95, Clean 95, Deadlift 195
First two rounds of 10 and 9 I used 115 for Bench and Clean, then scaled down to maintain form and depth (on cleans).

  9. Jordan, you did much better on your cleans… and through practice you will get better at all the other stuff. Andy it shows that you really enjoy the clean — your form is right on! Kristin we will definitely be raising the weight next time 🙂 Overall, both classes did very well! Great job to David and Jeff tonight you both left nothing in the tank! Lisa and Patrick it was nice having you all back in the box… way to get into the grove. Looking forward to workout tomorrow.

    rest day for me

  10. Jordan, your time was 28:36. While I can vividly remember your time and assorted facts from my 6th grade earth science class, I will have trouble finding my car in a parking lot tomorrow.

  11. Haha thanks Jeff! I’m pretty good at finding my car, but I think I skipped my 6th grade science class. I was probly busy with my own experiments.

  12. I figured I’d start posting my workouts here even though I’m doing them out here at Ft. Hood.

    135 BP
    205 DL
    95 Clean
