Thanks Greg H., for all of your coaching in my form during the bench press.
10 x 2 x 225 w/ 1 min rest. Bench has fallen off a lot. I am probably going to have to put it in on my own once a week.
Greg,
I wouldn’t worry too much about your bench falling off. More importantly, you are getting better in many other areas. Just my opinion.
WOW! Just watched the Disposable Heroes WOD video. VERY Moving. Puts things into perspective for sure.
worked up to 95# before failing at 100#. Improved PR by 10#. 🙂 Thanks Erin Atkins for your encouragement.
Started at 90#, incremented by 10# until I failed at 180. Got 170 twice. 170 is my PR by 20#. Dropped down to 165 and got it twice. Dropped down to 135 and did it 10 times just to get a good burn out. Then did 20 pull-ups. Great stress reliever today.
Good job Justin and Clint. It was fun working out with you guys.
started at 55#. worked up in 5# increments until i failed at 75#. got 75# four times. it’s amazing what a difference 5 little pounds makes!
205 first three sets, 215 sets four through eight, 210 sets 9 and 10. (Failed on second rep of set 8 and 10)

I enjoyed working with Andrew during the 4:00. We worked fast and kept our 60 second rest intervals pretty honest. We were only off by a total of about 30 seconds between the two of us at the end of the WOD.
Enjoyed the 6:30 class. Kudos to Mandi for putting up some good numbers her first time bench pressing! Many athletes pushed their limits tonight. I am proud to be a part of such a great community of CrossFitters at CFI!

Should have been able to bench 110#, but didn’t drive through my heels.
Thanks Katie and great job! Because I work out with you a lot, I’ve seen the huge progress you’ve made when it comes to strength! You get that bar (like Jeff) and show it who’s boss!! Grrrr!
You’ve got a dirty, whorish mouth. That’s what you have.
Thanks Brittany! you are awesome as well and such a joy to workout/dance with! I hope to be able to lift as much as you someday (: I like your dirty whoreish mouth and your TB’s lol

It’s not as if bench has become a weakness… It just isn’t what it used to be. But I’ll take Davids advice and focus on the areas where I’ve gained strength. My fitness priorities are changing.
The way I look at it, most guys you see on the street would get cut in half trying to bench press 150 pounds. The fact that you can do 245 without specifically training that one lift is pretty darn impressive. Nice job.
I started at 55 and ended at 80, which was a PR by 10 pounds! Failed at 85, but I am so pleased with what I did. Michelle, you were a great partner! Thanks!!
