This is a tough WOD. Everyone in the morning class really worked hard. Kudos to Thadd for giving it 100% on every interval. Michelle is also moving up to a consistently “Gold” athlete.
BTW, if you’re participating in the Affiliate Throwdown on Saturday then don’t forget to attend our team meeting tonight at 5:15 if you haven’t attended one already.

Scaled @ 105 Thrusters, rounds as Rx’d
0:51 – 1:21
Great work from the morning crew on a tough wod! Probably would have had a sub 0:45 on round 1 but I blew past the 100 meter turnaround and proceeded to run past the 200m turn around until I realized something was a miss and heard Jeff yell my name out, so round 1 was a bust. I guess I thought I could go ahead and run the 1000 meters first to get it out of the way, that’s allowed right? 🙂 Fun wod, looking forward to Saturday.
Gold 65# with band pull-ups (it’s time for a band intervention).
It’s really funny how running on this WOD seems like it is in slow motion but oh wait, that’s just me in slow motion.
Everyone did a great job as always.
Due to injury, sub’d burpees for thrusters and GHD back extensions for pull ups. Total time 20:00, minus the rest periods 11:00. Since I didn’t do the Rx’d WOD I didn’t time the individual rounds.
Scaled this to Gold sort of. Used 65lb for thrusters (which for some reason felt way heavier than when I used it in Fran) I started with pull ups but moved to push ups after about half way through my fourth round in attempt to save my hands for Saturday’s competition and I only did 8 rounds. My fastest time was 1:12 which was my first round and my slowest round was 2:19 which was my 5th round and my total time was 12:46. Thanks for that extra push Mandy, and also thanks for making me run my fastest in that last round!
You’re welcome! I needed the extra run anyway!
I enjoyed coaching the 6:30 class. Everyone pushed it hard for the entire 10 rounds of this one. Kudos to Alex I. for killing it and leading the class! It was nice having Chris drop-in with us!
Total-20:33. Shortest/longest round – 1:04 2:10. Gold.
It wasnt as bad as yesterday but I can already tell my legs are wrecked from squat cleans yesterday and thrusters today.
I scaled to gold-ish on this one to save myself for the Throwdown on Saturday. 8 rounds, 55# and regular pull ups (switched to push ups in the 5th round because my hand started to tear. Fastest was 0:59 (5th round, thanks to switching to push ups); slowest was 1:30 (most of my rounds were somewhere near this).
