AMRAP  in 20 Minutes:

Run 400m

Max toes-to-bar

Score total number of toes-to-bar.

Standards and ranges of motion:

Toes-to-bar – athlete must have both toes hit the bar. Shins do not count it must be the actual foot of the athlete. If the athletes hands come off the bar or their feet/foot hit the ground the round is over and the athlete must move on to the run. An athlete must choose a bar that is 4″ from a dead hang from a pullup bar. If the athlete’s foot grazes the floor while going into the next rep it does not count. If the foot touches the ground the athlete must start a new round.

  1. 22+18+13+12+12+10+7= 94 reps

With Hudson. My goal was to maintain 15 to 20 per round. My grip had something else much less in mind. Rounds of max reps of anything with less than 2 min rest between rounds is a horrible feeling.

  2. 73 Reps and 7 rounds with Hudson as trainer. My goal was to do 15 each round, but quickly learned that a. if you don’t kip violently, you will swing violently on the bar and accomplish nothing but blistering and b. grip is the limiting factor, not strength of shoulders or core.

  3. 85 reps with Daniel.

21-15-9-10-10-10-10. Thanks Daniel for the motivation to get to 10 those last 4 rounds. My grip went fast and I had trouble linking more than 3 or 4 as the rounds went on. I laughed after when I realized I did 21-15-9 to start.

  4. 80 Reps with Daniel. 24-17-11-10-10-8 Grip went quick and didn’t really come back. I feel as though I could have done a lot more if I had been able to wrap my hands around the bar a little more rather than use the wide one (for height reasons)

  5. 15 reps with Christina. Not what I wanted, but I went in there today with no toes to bar, so I’m glad I finally got them. Thanks for your help, Christina!

    1. Way to go, Sarah! That’s real, measurable progress. Something to be proud of.

  6. 73 reps with Jeff. Thanks for the push Brittany I would not have gotten a 6th round without you!

  7. 70 reps with Jeff as trainer. Since my grip strength is gone, typing this is a challenge!
