Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 10 minutes of:
30 Double-unders
15 Power snatches

The Power snatch loads are as follows:
Men and Masters Men 45-49, 50-54: 75lbs/35kg
Women and Masters Women 45-54: 55lbs/25kg
Masters Men 55-59, 60+: 65lbs/30kg
Masters Women 55-59, 60+: 45lbs/20kg

  1. 6 + 23 Rx. Should have switched to clean and jerk but I had a plan going into it and was afraid to deviate. Intense shoulder burn throughout made both DUs and snatches very difficult. Add a jacked heart rate and everything gets worse. Thanks everyone for the encouragement and Daniel for taking the time to judge.

  2. 5 rnds Rx. Quickly went to mostly power clean and jerk. It was just quicker for me. Good quick WOD.

  3. 4 rounds + 19 reps, Rx’d

    DUs were mostly unbroken, but I took the barbell movement very slowly. Power clean and push press was my usual method. Happy to be building strength and speed again before surgery next week. I think that will make my recovery faster.

  4. 5 rounds + 12 reps

    Went 100% for the first 3 minutes then backed down for the remaining 7 minutes. Goal for Saturday is 7 rounds.

    Great job to the 5:15 class on this one! Everyone worked really hard. Kudos to Hudson for setting the bar for CFI athletes!

  5. 4 rnds + 5 reps, rx’d. Power snatched all reps, so I’m wondering if power cleaning would be quicker and less draining for Saturday.

  6. 3 rounds

    DU started great, then I had trouble getting 5 in a row. Was able to catch up some time on the snatch’s only to get so out of breath that I couldn’t do a DU!! Hopefully DU’s will get better on Saturday!

  7. 5R+20reps Rx

    I tried C&J in round 3, but found it turned more into a shoulder press and was wearing me out faster than the power snatch. Went back to power snatch in rounds 4 and 5.

    1. That means you’re doing it right! If you’re pushing hard on a WOD like this you won’t catch your breath until it’s over.
