CrossFit Games Open 11.6

Complete as many reps as possible in 7 minutes of the following rep scheme:
100 pound Thruster, 3 reps
3 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 6 reps
6 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 9 reps
9 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 12 reps
12 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 15 reps
15 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 18 reps
18 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 21 reps
21 Chest to bar Pull-ups…

This is a timed workout. If you complete the round of 21, go on to 24. If you complete 24, go on to 27, etc.

Post rounds and reps completed to comments and/or register and submit your results as part of the CrossFit Games Open.

If you plan to compete as an athlete, volunteer as a judge or volunteer to help in general, please register here.  This will allow the CFI staff to plan for Saturday’s CrossFit Games Open 11.5 event.  Judges will need to attend one of the judges meetings tonight at 7:30 or Thursday night at 7:30.

  1. Got up to 12s and 1 additional thruster on bronze. Thanks Jeff for pushing me! Great AM workout and it was nice having so many of the fundamentals group there!

  2. Good to see some new faces this morning!! Welcome everyone…

    60 reps total…completed 12’s. I think I wrote it wrong on the board. I didn’t do 12 rounds :D.

    Had some trouble with CTB pull-ups. Literally couldn’t touch chest to bar, which is the requirement for the Open. I could pull to the chest or even below, just couldn’t touch..Have to get that worked out before Saturday.

  3. Great way to start my morning with several new and motivated athletes! Kudos to Kristen for racing between the ring rows and thrusters as fast as she could! Melissa, you are so close that I bet we can get you pulling in and touching before Saturday. You may fatigue quickly, but I bet if you alternate gripping method (1-2 pullups prone, 1-2 pullups supinated) then you might be able to knock them out very fast.
