  1. 125-125-85-85-105 Ended up dropping the weight to work on getting my chest up this morning. Not a permanent fix for the problem, but it worked for today 😉

  2. I WODed with CrossFit Las Vegas today. Started off with a 3-3-3-3-3 deadlift where I went 225-235-245-255-265. The WOD was 10 down to 1 of box jumps, kettle bell swings, and pushups. So that means round 1 is 10 reps, round 2 is 9, round 3 is 8 and so on…finished in 14:25. It was a tough WOD. This affiliate had a guy advance to the CrossFit Games final after their regionals last week. His name is Zac.

Had a great time with these guys today, will hopefully get back over there later this week. The class was HUGE, like 20+ people.

  3. I had a great time teaching the 4:00 and 5:15 classes today. Everybody showed improvement on form and there were several PRs today! I worked out with Zan and Brittany at the 6:30 class. The book said that if my 1RM was 195 then my 3RM should be 180…that wasn’t happening today.

Big ups to eric, used all of CFI’s bumper plates up, then went to the parking lot and started squatting cars.

  5. My pulse immediately quickened when I saw the Fran was on the agenda tomorrow. I should just puke now and get it over with.

  6. 125-130-135-140-145-150-155(f)

I started a bit too low I think. My 1RM is 158, but I think I could have gotten through all 3 (I failed on the second rep) if I would have started a bit higher. Tonight was a fun class, very entertaining.

It’s been a while since I last back squatted and it shows.

I had a great time coaching the 6:30 class! You all were fun. Katie and Mandy made some solid improvements on technique. Everyone pushed to their limits.

Just trying to keep up with Jordan and Zan! I went for a 1RM at 185 but failed. Also did a 2 mile run earlier in the day and clocked in at 13:55.

  9. 105-105-105-105-105

I had some technique issues to work out, so I kept the weight low and consistent so I could work on them. Thanks David and Katie for your help! And congrats to Katie for a big PR!

Knocked out my 20/20 pull ups for the gymnastics “homework” between sets and after class, and then stuck around for the nutrition class. Thank you Michelle for letting me and Katie participate! I’m definitely interested if you decide to do another 12 week course.

Then I tried to see if I could PR on a 1 rep. max and I ended up getting 160# which is a 15#PR. Thanks David for all of your help with my wrist technique and thank you Mandy for sharing a bar with me and helping me through it all!
