We’ve got an exciting new plan for Friday evenings at CFI!

We’ve had a lot of feedback that many of you would enjoy a dedicated class for strength training. So starting next week on November 11th, the 5:15 class on Fridays will be a dedicated strength class! We’ll be focusing on major strength lifts: back squat, front squat, deadlift, sumo deadlift, shoulder press, push press, and bench press. The programming will follow a progression from one week to the next, so you will definitely benefit from regular attendance if you can make it. The programming will also be simple, allowing the class to perform a quick warmup and then get right to work. We think you’re going to love it!

Now, some less exciting news: The 6:30 PM class is cancelled on Fridays (only Fridays, all other weekdays are unaffected). Attendance has historically been very very low at the Friday 6:30 PM class, with usually only one or two athletes. We don’t think this change will impact most of you, but it will free up resources to devote to other things that you will enjoy, like the 5:15 strength class!  The last 6:30 PM class on Friday will be this Friday, November 4th. Fundamentals will be taught at 6:30 PM on the weekends it occurs, and is unaffected.

  1. I absolutely love this guys. I guarantee everyone who attends will benefit. If it takes off, I’d love to see this option available maybe 2 or even 3 times a week.
